湖南中大冶金设计有限公司（简称中大冶金设计院）是依托中南大学成立的以有色金属冶金设计为重点业务的国家工程设计单位。
我院拥有氧化铝、电解铝、碳素、金属加工、机械设备、电力电讯、自动控制、建筑规划、土木工程、总图运输、给排水、空调净化、采暖通风、环境保护、工程概算、技术经济等16个专业。各类专业技术人员100余人，其中教授级高工6人，硕士、博士28人，工程师及高级工程师60多人，享受国务院特殊津贴专家4人。各类注册工程师执业资格人员26人。拥有现代化设计与科研手段和装备，与中南大学共建了国际一流的“中南大学—中大冶金设计院铝电解数值模拟仿真中心”。
