Chongqing Hengtong Bus Co., Ltd., formerly Chongqing Bus General Factory, was founded in 1939. It is one of China's largest professional city bus manufacturers and a pioneer and promoter of city bus manufacturing in New China. As the manufacturer of China's first city bus, articulated bus, and gas bus, Hengtong Bus has now developed into a large bus manufacturing enterprise with an annual output of 8,000 buses, leading the development and application of advanced gas bus technology in China, and its levels in R&D, manufacturing, and management are in a leading position in China's bus industry.
