Chongqing Vocational College of Art and Engineering is a full-time general higher vocational college approved by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government and registered with the Ministry of Education (Ministry of Education Code: 14367). It undertakes the national unified enrollment task and enrolls students nationwide; it has the qualification to independently issue nationally recognized academic diplomas.
The college currently has two campuses, Chayuan in Nan'an, Chongqing and Tongliang, covering a total area of more than 600 mu, with nearly 3,000 students. The campus architectural design is unique and fully functional.
Relying on the advantages of the architecture and decoration industry, the college connects with enterprises and integrates industry and education, focusing on building a distinctive specialty group centered on "Art Design" and "Architectural Engineering". Among the current professional teachers, 30% are senior well-known designers, and 80% are key technical talents with rich project experience.
The college was founded by Chongqing Gangxin Building Decoration Design Engineering Co., Ltd. (referred to as Gangxin Decoration Company). Gangxin Decoration Company is one of the top 100 enterprises in the building decoration industry nationwide. It has undertaken decoration projects for many landmark buildings inside and outside Chongqing. Its rich engineering cases and extensive social resources have provided good resources and markets for the college's talent cultivation and student employment. With the support of industry associations such as the Chongqing Building Decoration Association and the Engineering Cost Association, the college has achieved deep industry-education integration with more than 20 well-known industry enterprises, including Chongqing Gangqing Building Decoration Company and Chongqing Bojian Architectural Design Company, to jointly cultivate professional and technical talents serving the architecture and decoration industry.
