Caitong Securities

Caitong Securities Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") was formerly known as Zhejiang Financial Securities Company, established in May 1993. In June 2003, with Zhejiang Financial Securities Company as the main body, it was restructured into Caitong Securities Brokerage Co., Ltd., in conjunction with some municipal and county treasury bond service intermediaries within the province. In October 2006, the Company absorbed and merged Tianhe Securities Brokerage Co., Ltd. In July 2007, the Zhejiang Provincial Party Committee and Provincial Government designated the Company as a provincial-level state-owned enterprise directly under the province, supervised by the Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission as authorized by the Provincial Government. In March 2009, it was renamed Caitong Securities Co., Ltd. In January 2011, the Company's supervision was transferred to the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Finance. In October 2013, the Company was wholly converted into a joint-stock company. On October 24, 2017, the Company was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange (stock code: 601108).
As of August 2017, the Company's registered capital was RMB 3.23 billion, with 120 securities branches (including outlets under preparation, distributed across cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen, Fuzhou, Xiamen, Qingdao, Dalian, Nanjing, Wuxi, Chongqing, Lhasa, Chengdu, Changshu, and various cities and counties within Zhejiang Province; and 14 subsidiaries, located in cities such as Hangzhou, Taizhou, Ningbo, Huzhou, Chengdu). The Company's subsidiaries include Caitong Securities Asset Management Co., Ltd., Caitong Fund Management Co., Ltd., Yongan Futures Co., Ltd., Caitong Securities (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Caitong Capital Investment Co., Ltd., and Zhejiang Caitong Innovation Investment Co., Ltd.
The Company's business scope includes: securities brokerage, securities investment consulting, securities proprietary trading, securities underwriting and sponsorship, margin trading and securities lending, securities investment fund distribution, distribution of financial products, and other businesses approved by the China Securities Regulatory Commission. In addition, the Company's subsidiary Caitong Securities Asset Management Co., Ltd. operates securities asset management business; Zhejiang Caitong Capital Investment Co., Ltd. operates private fund management and related businesses; Caitong Securities (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. operates overseas securities brokerage and asset management businesses; Zhejiang Caitong Innovation Investment Co., Ltd. operates alternative investment and wealth management businesses; Yongan Futures Co., Ltd. primarily operates commodity futures brokerage, financial futures brokerage, futures investment consulting, asset management, and other businesses; Caitong Fund Management Co., Ltd. operates fund management business. As of September 30, 2017, the Company's consolidated total assets were RMB 49.664 billion, consolidated net assets were RMB 16.26 billion, and net assets attributable to the parent company were RMB 16.232 billion.
