Taige Lin Paper Group Co., Ltd., formerly known as Yueyang Paper Mill, was founded in 1958. On September 22, 2000, together with China Huarong Asset Management Corporation, Hunan Paper Research Institute and other units as well as natural persons, it jointly initiated the establishment of Yueyang Paper Co., Ltd., which was listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange on May 25, 2004. On July 1, 2004, Yueyang Lin Paper Group was renamed "Hunan Taige Lin Paper Group Co., Ltd." On September 21, 2010, the cooperation agreement for the restructuring of Taige Lin Paper Group was formally signed between China Paper Investment Corporation under China Chengtong Holdings Group and seven shareholders including Hunan Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. In January 2011, the restructuring plan was approved by the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council, the company was renamed "Taige Lin Paper Group Co., Ltd.," and the company officially became a member of a central state-owned enterprise. In 2017, based on the forest-pulp-paper industry, the company extended its industrial chain and expanded into fields such as forest trees, chemicals, landscape architecture, greening maintenance, and ecological governance, forming a "big ecology" business development pattern.
Taige Lin Paper Group Co., Ltd. is mainly engaged in forestry management, municipal public engineering design and construction, landscaping services, and the production and sales of cultural paper, packaging paper (industrial packaging paper, food packaging paper), and market wood pulp. It is a supporting enterprise of Hunan's "forest-paper integration" industry. The company's annual production capacity of paper and market pulp reaches 1.6 million tons (including 300,000 tons of dissolving pulp), and it has 2 million mu of self-operated paper material forest bases.
Adhering to the corporate mission of "carrying civilization, decorating life, and creating value for customers," and inheriting the essence of Hunan-Chu culture of "worrying first and rejoicing later," the company has launched product series such as "Taige Feng, Taige Ya, Taige Song" and Yueyang Tower. The company's main products include light-coated paper, light paper, electrostatic copy paper, writing paper, fine kraft paper, packaging paper (industrial packaging paper, food packaging paper), as well as long-fiber market wood pulp, hardwood pulp, dissolving pulp, etc., which sell well across the country and in East Asia, West Asia, Southeast Asia, North Africa and other regions.
The company is one of the first batch of "two-oriented" pilot enterprises in the country; its products passed the ISO14001:2004 environmental management system and GB/T28001-2001 occupational health and safety management system certifications in January 2006, making it one of the few enterprises in China with "quality, environment, and occupational health and safety" management system certifications; in November 2009, it obtained FSC international forest management system certification, thereby obtaining the FSC forest certification "green card" for sales in more countries and regions around the world.
