中国人民解放军第161医院是一所具有六十多年光荣历史，集医疗、教学、科研为一体的叁级甲等大型综合医院。其前身为冀鲁豫军区八分区第二野战医疗所，曾跟随参加过多次解放战役，1949年随刘邓大军进驻武汉，番号为第69陆军医院。医院被国家卫生部评为国际爱婴医院，被评为全军\"白求恩杯\"优质服务先进单位，是武汉市医疗保险定点医院，新农合定点医院，也是是*、叁军医大学、北京军医学院、华中科技大学、武汉大学、南方医学院等9所院校的教学医院。
