Nine Air Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as "Nine Air") is a public air transport enterprise controlled by Shanghai Juneyao Airlines Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of RMB 600 million. Nine Air was approved for preparation in February 2014 by the Civil Aviation Administration of China, officially settled in Baiyun District, Guangzhou in April 2014, and officially commenced commercial operations on January 15, 2015. It has successively opened routes such as Guangzhou, Wenzhou, Harbin, Haikou, Nanjing, Changchun, Manzhouli, Urumqi, Hailar, Tianjin, Chongqing, Nanning, and Changbaishan. Its route network will radiate nationwide with Guangzhou as the center, and future international routes will cover the five-hour flight circle from Guangzhou, including South Asia, Southeast Asia, North Asia, and Northeast Asia. Nine Air uses Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport as its main operating base and is the second base airline in Guangzhou.
