About Kemin: Kemin Group entered the plastics industry in 1997, initially specializing in auxiliary peripheral equipment. In 2005, it established a mold factory, and in 2007, invested to establish Shanghai Deyong Plastic Machinery Co., Ltd., becoming the agent for the German injection molding machine brand Demag in the Shanghai and Jiangsu regions of China, while also forming a professional technical and after-sales support team. In 2010, it established an automation equipment manufacturing factory in Songjiang Industrial Park and founded Shanghai Kemin Injection Molding System Technology Co., Ltd., with professional R&D, manufacturing, and after-sales teams, specializing in providing complete solutions for in-mold labeling (IML), plastic cutlery, spoons, and thin-wall container manufacturing systems, as well as automation solutions. In late 2013, it acquired a Taiwan-invested injection molding machine brand to shape dedicated injection molding machines for ultra-thin-wall systems, also providing more diversified options for Kemin Group's complete system solutions.
Honors and Certifications: Kemin holds three invention patents and multiple utility model patents, enabling it to provide professional complete system solutions and automation solutions to customers.
Comprehensive Manufacturing Facilities: We provide "complete system solutions" and "automation solutions."
In early 2013, Kemin Group established a new modern factory in Jinshan District, Shanghai, primarily for use by Kemin Automation System Co., Ltd., which was renamed Shanghai Kemin Injection Molding System Technology Co., Ltd. in early 2014. The plant covers an area of over 80 mu (about 53,000 sqm), with factory building area reaching 36,000 sqm. The new factory adopts a garden-style construction, including not only automation equipment assembly workshops, mold manufacturing workshops, and complete system commissioning workshops, but also a trial mass production cleanroom. Complete equipment will undergo actual operational running-in in the trial mass production cleanroom, where Kemin's technical team will resolve any issues arising during the commissioning of the complete system in real time and provide on-site technical training to customers on how to solve problems encountered in actual operation.
Automation Equipment Assembly Workshop: In automation equipment assembly and systems, robotic arms are an indispensable bridge connecting the work of various projects. The design of robotic arms is closely related to the customer's product design requirements, with the primary condition being clear finished product dimensions, shapes, and expected output effects, based on which design proposals are proposed. Furthermore, because robotic arms are closely coordinated with molds, we confirm the selection of robotic arms based on information such as mold cavity position and dimensions.
We design extraction systems according to different products and adjust them based on the specifications and performance of injection molding machines, molds, and related equipment. Our rich experience is our advantage, enabling us to assist you in achieving excellent and fast system production cycles, high yield rates, and stable system operation, while achieving maximum benefits with precise and cost-effective solutions.
Mold Manufacturing Workshop: For injection molding systems, the most critical key is molds and fixtures. The quality of molds and fixtures not only decisively affects product quality but also determines the overall system value. Mold and fixture design requires sufficient accumulated experience and knowledge of many related equipment, along with excellent production equipment; these conditions combine to establish a mold and fixture manufacturing factory that integrates R&D and production, becoming a strong backing for system solutions.
Most manufacturers, to save production costs and avoid personnel management hassles, outsource mold and fixture production. However, outsourced production brings many uncertainties, such as difficulties in confirming delivery times and controlling costs, and more importantly, it prevents further development research. In view of this, we insist on not outsourcing mold and fixture production and have hired experienced talents from various related industries to form a professional R&D team. We have built a dedicated mold and fixture manufacturing factory equipped with Charmilles precision EDM machines, Makino high-speed machining centers (from Japan), Taiwan CNC machining centers, Mazak CNC lathes, and Mitutoyo coordinate measuring machines (from Japan).
System Commissioning Workshop: System equipment integration is a global trend, but implementation is not as simple as imagined. System integration requires overcoming difficulties that test the capabilities of integrators, including lengthy equipment evaluation cycles, high upfront investment costs, synchronized technical advancement of injection molding machines, molds, and robotic arms, clear division of after-sales responsibilities among equipment suppliers, and high labor training costs. Kemin is breaking through these challenges step by step, truly solving problems for customers, and becoming a model of integration in the plastics industry chain.
We value the effectiveness of system integration and pay attention to any issues that may arise. For this reason, we have specially set up a system commissioning workshop to run trial operations of various machinery equipment and adjust system parameters. We also respond to customers' different requirements for finished products by feeding information back into the design concept, forming a positive cycle through information exchange, and feeding adjusted results back to on-site operators, incorporating practical training to create a complete knowledge delivery.
Trial Mass Production Cleanroom: To pursue hygiene in food packaging and meet high standard specifications, we have spared no expense to build a 10,000-class cleanroom covering 2,200 sqm, creating a dedicated space for system trial mass production. After system commissioning, complete equipment can be moved to the cleanroom for actual running-in. Every process in the trial mass production cleanroom is strictly controlled, with attention to hygiene and packaging, ensuring your finished product manufacturing process meets food hygiene standards. At the same time, Kemin's technical team will resolve any issues arising during the commissioning of the complete system in real time and provide on-site technical training to customers on solving problems encountered in actual operation.
