Chongqing Xianju Mountain Cemetery

The Chongqing Xianju Mountain Funeral Home (Cemetery) project is one of the target tasks of the "Tenth Five-Year Plan" for the funeral and interment industry of the Chongqing Municipal Government and one of the key livelihood projects of the Banan District Government. Approved for construction by the Chongqing Civil Affairs Bureau in December 2000, it was completed and put into use on September 30, 2003. The project has a planned construction land area of 1,200 mu with a total investment of 300 million yuan. It is a public welfare institution integrating cremation, ashes storage, cemetery sales, funeral services, and catering and accommodation. It is located in Xianju Mountain Scenic Area, Sixth Community, Yanhe Village, Longzhouwan Subdistrict Office, Banan District, Chongqing, with convenient transportation, backed by mountains and facing water, and beautiful scenery. Xianju Mountain Funeral Home provides service 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and has adopted advanced domestic cremation equipment, with 6 high-, medium-, and low-grade cremation furnaces. Our home adheres to the noble philosophy of "for the repose of the deceased, for the comfort of the living, and for a better homeland," provides quality services to the public, and implements bright funerals, green funerals, and environmentally friendly funerals. Xianju Mountain Cemetery is a municipal-level large-scale commercial ecological sightseeing cemetery approved for construction by the Chongqing Civil Affairs Bureau (Document Yu Min Ban 2000 No. 151). In front of the cemetery there are a plaza, green shade, a life-release pond, and a parking lot. It faces west and sits east, with a landform in the shape of a "dragon chair," with the Azure Dragon on the left and the White Tiger on the right, surrounded by green mountains, overlapping three mountains, and lingering green waters. It can truly be described as "with a front view and a back support, embraced on the left and right." It fully conforms to traditional Chinese standards for selecting yin dwellings and is a rare feng shui site. The planning follows the central axis layout design of traditional Chinese imperial mausoleums, adopts the scheme of using the land as a metaphor for form, embracing mountains and rivers, and harmony between heaven and humanity. It has the sacred, noble, grand, solemn, ancient, and vibrant characteristics of a Chinese-style imperial mausoleum, and is a comprehensive large-scale sightseeing cemetery integrating life, charity, humanities, art, and ecology. It emphasizes humanistic, artistic, humanized, and standardized development. It creates a superior cemetery brand, builds an ecological and humanistic environment, serves the broad masses, and gives back to a civilized society. The park is backed by yin and embraces yang, stores wind and gathers qi. In the park, green reflects fresh flowers and life continues endlessly. The river of life flows long and far. The feng shui pagoda sits guarding the landscape, protecting the deceased and blessing descendants. It is a place for the deceased to rest in peace.
