Novelis (China) Aluminum Products Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Novelis in Changzhou, established in June 2012 with a registered capital of USD 56.7 million. The Novelis Changzhou plant is the first manufacturer of automotive aluminum sheets in China, located in the core area of Changzhou High-tech Development Zone, supplying aluminum sheets for automotive structural and body components. Novelis was founded in 2005, spun off from the aluminum manufacturer Alcan. Novelis is a young, growth-oriented company but has over 90 years of history in aluminum rolling. Novelis is a leading manufacturer of aluminum rolled products and the world's largest recycler of aluminum cans.
