COFCO Oils & Fats (Qinzhou) Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned oils and fats processing enterprise established by COFCO Corporation, a Fortune Global 500 company, in the Beibu Gulf, located in Qinzhou Port Economic and Technological Development Zone. The company mainly produces edible oils under the "Fortune" brand and soybean meal under the "Sihai" brand.
The project has a total investment of 3 billion RMB and covers an area of 325 mu. The first phase started construction in January 2010 and was completed and put into operation in April 2011. After the completion of the second phase, the annual grain and oil processing capacity will reach 2.4 million tons, with annual sales revenue exceeding 10 billion RMB and various taxes paid exceeding 1 billion RMB. The company has a grain and oil storage capacity of 338,000 tons, a 50,000-ton-class wharf, and three dedicated railway lines, among other logistics supporting facilities.
The COFCO Qinzhou grain and oil processing project is a key initiative in implementing COFCO Group's "whole industry chain" development strategy. Together with the other ten enterprises of the Group's Oils & Fats Department in China, it forms a nationwide production and sales network for vegetable oils and meals, effectively enhancing COFCO Group's comprehensive market competitiveness in grain and oil processing. It will play an important role in serving the nation's macroeconomic regulation, ensuring the supply of grain and oil markets, optimizing regional industrial structure, promoting employment, and improving people's quality of life.
