Chung Hwa Book is a large printing group formed in 1980 by the printing factories in Hong Kong of two long-established publishers and printers—Chung Hwa Book Company and The Commercial Press. Chung Hwa Book provides book and magazine printing, commercial printing, packaging printing, security printing, and smart card printing services to Hong Kong, the mainland, and many other countries in Europe and America.
Currently, Chung Hwa Book has multiple wholly-owned subsidiaries in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and even the United States (New York, Portland), the United Kingdom (London), Japan (Tokyo), among other places. Among them, those established in Hong Kong include a color printing company and a security printing company, and those established in Shenzhen include Shenzhen Lian Yin and the Guangdong company. Chung Hwa Book Co., (H.K.) Ltd. Guangdong Printing is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chung Hwa Book Co., (H.K.) Ltd., directly under Sino United Publishing (Holdings) Limited, registered and established in 1995. It is located in Chunhu Industrial Zone, Pinghu Town, Longgang District, Shenzhen, covering an area of 100,000 square meters, with more than 1,000 employees. The company has advanced equipment, including various models of sheet-fed printing presses from Heidelberg, Koenig & Bauer, and Komori of Germany. It possesses a domestically advanced Heidelberg M-600 high-precision eight-color commercial web offset printing press, as well as a computer-to-plate CTP fully digital process production line and Asia's advanced high-speed web digital printing press, various hardcover, paperback, and saddle-stitching binding lines, and printing and binding equipment for bills, passbooks, etc. The company is a comprehensive printing enterprise mainly producing high-grade and high-quality printed materials.
