Headquartered in Ohio, Libbey Inc. is a leading designer, producer and marketer of glass tableware around the world, with a strong leadership position in North America. Through its Syracuse China and World Tableware subsidiaries, it is also a leading provider of ceramic dinnerware and metal flatware to the foodservice industry. Today, Libbey products are distributed in more than 90 countries.

Over the last few years, the Company has made significant acquisitions internationally: of Royal Leerdam – one of the largest glass stemware producers worldwide based in Amsterdam；of Crisal – Portugal-based manufacturer of glass tableware which has helped to expand the Company’s presence in Europe. Libbey is also in the process of negotiating another venture in Mexico with Vitrocrisa.

The Company plans to invest significantly in China and Asia-Pacific markets in the near future where it expects strong growth opportunities as a commercial market and sourcing base. Currently, Libbey is building a new state-of-the-art glass tableware manufacturing facility in China.
