Strix is currently the leading supplier of thermostatic controls for household kettles. Every day, Strix thermostats are used in over two billion units globally. In addition to thermostatic controls, Strix also manufactures high-end water filters.
In 1951, thermal controls were invented on the Isle of Man and began to be widely used in household electric kettles.
In 1982, Strix Group was established on the Isle of Man, UK, growing from thermal controls into an industrial group with independent intellectual property rights.
In 1997, the Group invested in Guangzhou to establish Strix (Guangzhou) Electric Appliances Co., Ltd., which serves as an important production and R&D base for the Group.
In 2017, Strix Group was listed on the London Stock Exchange.
Based on its outstanding achievements and contributions in the industry, Strix Group has received multiple UK national awards, including the Queen's Award.
