GAC Mitsubishi Motors Co., Ltd. is a Sino-foreign joint venture established by Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd., Mitsubishi Motors Corporation, and Mitsubishi Corporation. The cooperation term is 30 years, with a registered capital of RMB 1.7 billion, of which Guangzhou Automobile Group Co., Ltd. holds 50% equity, Mitsubishi Motors Corporation holds 33% equity, and Mitsubishi Corporation holds 17% equity. GAC Mitsubishi is mainly engaged in the research and development, production, and sales of automobiles and auto parts, as well as providing corresponding after-sales, consulting, and technical services.
GAC Mitsubishi is located in Changsha Economic and Technological Development Zone, Hunan Province, China, covering an area of approximately 520,000 square meters, with a total of more than 2,900 employees. The company currently has research and development centers, stamping, welding, painting, assembly, and vehicle inspection centers, as well as production workshops with advanced processes and technical and quality assurance systems. It has established a relatively complete and strong parts supply and collaboration system and a continuously improving marketing and service network.
