Eldor Dalian Plant produces ignition systems for the local automotive market. Eldor Dalian currently operates three production lines, offering partners solutions integrating Italian manufacturing, technology, innovation, and service.
Eldor's history in China began in the 1990s when it started researching the Chinese market and establishing initial contacts with local stakeholders.
The Dalian manufacturing plant was completed in 2011 and began production in 2012.
Eldor developed a new fully automated production technology, combined with its organizational and industrial models, achieving "zero-defect" products in 2015 (and was awarded the Quality Gold Cup by Volkswagen Powertrain China).
Eldor developed fully automated production technology for its operations in China. Only certified and qualified technicians and engineers can participate in the production process, with uncertified employees excluded from any procedure. This enables Eldor to ensure comprehensive quality, protect intellectual property, and control costs even amid rising direct labor expenses.
Investment in China is an important tool for cultural promotion and exchange. The key design element of Eldor's building exterior, the "Italian Gallery," is a suspended glass pavilion dedicated to hosting cross-national cultural activities between Italy and China.
Eldor believes that sports are vital to employee well-being, and therefore the Eldor Dalian Plant has built a basketball court and fitness center. Eldor China has won multiple awards, with over 600 employees.
