DHI China (Danhua Water Environment Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd.) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the DHI Group established in China in 2004. The company's employees are mostly professional engineers and scientists with master's or doctoral degrees, and possess extensive experience in consulting and product development. DHI China's headquarters is in Shanghai, with offices in Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou, and Chengdu.
The DHI Group is an independent international research and consulting institution, founded in 1964 and approved as a technology research center by the Danish Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation. DHI has developed a series of hydraulic and environmental software tools, and its consulting services integrate these software tools and various technologies with extensive knowledge of physics/chemistry and biology. DHI's software technology has been applied in over 140 countries and regions worldwide.
