Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co., Ltd. was established in 2001, jointly funded by Sundiro Holding Co., Ltd., Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of USD 130 million, with a 50:50 equity ratio between Chinese and Japanese parties. On December 30, 2016, Sundiro Holding Co., Ltd. transferred its 50% equity in Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co., Ltd. to Ningbo Sundiro Equity Investment Co., Ltd. Since then, Sundiro Honda Motorcycle Co., Ltd. has been jointly funded by Ningbo Sundiro Equity Investment Co., Ltd., Honda Motor Co., Ltd. (Japan), and Honda Motor (China) Investment Co., Ltd., with a registered capital of USD 130 million and a 50:50 equity ratio. The company currently has over 3,800 employees, with its headquarters in Taicang, Suzhou, and two major production bases in Taicang, Suzhou and Tianjin, with an annual production capacity of 1 million complete vehicles and engines. Sundiro Honda is committed to the development, production, sales, and service of motorcycles and electric vehicles.
