Caterpillar Inc. of the United States was founded in 1925 and is one of the world's largest manufacturers of construction and mining equipment, natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines, and one of the largest diesel engine manufacturers in the world.

Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd. is an investment company specifically responsible for Caterpillar's business in China. Since the 1970s, it has been committed to providing high-quality products and after-sales services to Chinese customers, supplying essential equipment for China's economic growth and development. Business scope: Caterpillar (China) Investment Co., Ltd. was established in Beijing in 1995, with branch offices in Shanghai and Kunming, and a training center in Shanghai. We have also established a sales and service network to provide customers with high-quality products, training, and after-sales support. In recent years, Caterpillar has invested in and established seven manufacturing facilities in China, producing hydraulic excavators, vibratory compactors, engines, construction machinery components, track running gear, and castings, while also providing logistics services to Caterpillar's joint ventures and dealer networks in China.
