Hynix-Numonyx Semiconductor Co., Ltd. is a wholly foreign-owned enterprise specializing in memory manufacturing, jointly built by South Korea's Hynix Semiconductor and Europe's Numonyx B.V. in Wuxi New District Export Processing Zone, Jiangsu Province. Its main products are 8-inch and 12-inch integrated circuit wafers, with applications covering memory, consumer products, mobile, SOC, and system IC fields. The company will adopt world-leading advanced technology to produce DRAM and NAND flash memory. This project is the only industrial project in Wuxi approved by the State Council for construction, with a total investment of 3.5 billion US dollars. It is the largest single investment and most technologically advanced project in the domestic semiconductor industry, and also the largest wholly foreign-owned project in Jiangsu Province.
