Nanhai Energy Investment Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") is a group enterprise with investment and development of natural gas and other clean energy as its core industry. The Company is registered in Hong Kong and intends to list on the Growth Enterprise Market of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
The Company's main business includes urban gas supply, CNG/L-CNG filling stations, natural gas long-distance pipeline operation, and other fields. Through nearly 20 years of operation and development, the Company has accumulated rich experience. It currently has 450 employees, including 21 technical personnel, and has become a gas group with considerable influence in Chongqing and Hunan. The Company owns 11 natural gas companies, 3 CNG/L-CNG filling stations, and 1 natural gas pipeline transmission company. It has built and operates approximately 400 kilometers of high-pressure long-distance pipelines and nearly 2,500 kilometers of urban pipeline networks, with more than 270,000 natural gas users and an annual gas transmission volume of about 100 million cubic meters. At present, the Company is preparing to build the Yunyang-Fengjie-Wushan natural gas long-distance pipeline double-line project. After connecting with PetroChina's Wanzhou-Yunyang pipeline, it will completely change the difficult gas usage situation in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area, further consolidate the Company's social influence in northeastern Chongqing, and promote the Company's market expansion in the region. At the same time, the Company will also rely on the advantages of the natural gas pipeline in Changde's "five counties and one city" to strengthen cooperation with central state-owned enterprises such as PetroChina and Sinopec, ensure gas source supply, expand the terminal gas market, and achieve leapfrog development.
The Company attaches great importance to distributed energy utilization and smart energy application, actively responds to national macroeconomic regulation policies, and gradually plans and implements a series of projects such as natural gas storage and peak-shaving facilities, LNG receiving bases (wharf/railway), industrial direct supply, and coal-to-gas boiler conversion, laying a solid foundation for the Company's long-term development.
In future development, the Company will unswervingly follow the path of clean energy development, closely align with the national strategies of the "Belt and Road" and scientific development, seize the important opportunity of the National Development and Reform Commission's efforts to implement natural gas system and mechanism reform, seek business opportunities in the wave of supply-side structural reform, and strive to develop into a full-industry-chain service provider of natural gas transmission, distribution, and supply with certain influence in China.
