中社研信息科学研究院（简称中研院、社研院），是以社区教育、现代远程教育信息化建设和社区教育发展体系研究为主的科研机构，总部位于北京。主要致力于公共信息服务平台的建设，推动我国社区教育信息化、规范化、科学化的发展。建设目标：1.全国社区教育信息化标准和咨询服务中心2.一流的国家教育信息化和教育信用体系研究中心3.社区教育政策研究的国际国内学术交流中心4.国家社区教育信息化人才的培养培训中心机构设置下设综合办公室、综合事业部、财务部、教育培训中心、品牌推广中心、现代远程教育中心、产品研发中心、学术研究中心等多个部门，和国内诸多教育科研、科技文化、图书报刊及教育服务等机构，均有密切的业务合作与联系，在教科界具有较广泛的影响。
