CIMC (Chongqing) Logistics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China International Marine Containers (Group) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter collectively referred to as CIMC Group), mainly engaged in the manufacturing of various types of containers and other logistics machinery equipment. The company's project is located in Gangcheng Industrial Park, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, with an initial total investment of USD 30 million. CIMC Group currently has more than 50 production and service bases and nearly 50,000 employees. With the mission of "providing equipment and services for modern transportation," CIMC has built a global operating system based on "China's advantages" and has successively created ten world "champion product" clusters, including various types of containers, boarding bridges, and special vehicles, ranking first in the global container market for eleven consecutive years. As one of the important production bases in CIMC's development strategy, the invested and constructed CIMC (Chongqing) Logistics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. project covers an area of approximately 300 mu, with an initial phase constructing a production line capable of producing various models of containers and logistics equipment with an annual production capacity of 100,000 TEUs. The project was completed and put into production in April 2008, and is expected to achieve annual sales revenue of approximately USD 200 million and annual profits and taxes of USD 10 million. The completion and operation of CIMC (Chongqing) Logistics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. will further promote Chongqing's construction of an efficient and low-cost container logistics system, enhance Chongqing's ability to attract foreign investment, and have a significant promoting effect on strengthening Chongqing's overall economic competitiveness. Chongqing CIMC Vehicle Park is wholly-owned and built by CIMC (Chongqing) Logistics Equipment Manufacturing Co., Ltd. The project is located in Zone A of Gangcheng Industrial Park, Jiangbei District, Chongqing, adjacent to the Tangjiatuo toll station exit of the Yuchang Expressway, near the Yangtze River golden waterway, and only 7 kilometers from the Cuntan Bonded Port Container Terminal, enjoying a unique geographical advantage. CIMC Vehicle Park covers an area of more than 200 mu. It is planned to include a truck 4S store cluster, truck center hypermarket, vehicle registration and annual inspection center, comprehensive office building, commercial supporting facilities, etc. Its functions include: vehicle sales, maintenance, parts, information feedback, registration, annual inspection, bank mortgage, insurance claims, catering, supermarket, hotel accommodation, meetings, office, teahouse, entertainment, etc. Chongqing CIMC Vehicle Park will be committed to building itself into a leading in Southwest China and first-class nationwide professional park for one-stop procurement and services throughout the full life cycle of trucks.
