本公司企业性质为中外合作企业，分别由广东省高速公路有限公司、长江和黄高速公路投资有限公司、粤港高速公路投资有限公司﹑汕头高速公路公司﹑惠来县交通发展总公司、汕尾市高速公路公司六家股东组成的合作公司。公司总部位于广东省汕头市濠江区河浦大道。总投资额为33亿元，全长140.017公里，横跨汕头、揭阳及汕尾三市，设计时速为100KM/H，双向四车道，现有员工约550多人，其中收费站基层员工为400多人。
