It was listed on the A-share main board in May 1998 with the stock code 600156 and a registered capital of 402 million yuan. It is a state-controlled listed company in Hunan Province engaged in the production of textiles and apparel. Its main business scope includes: development, production, and sales of yarn, fabric, printed and dyed fabric, clothing made from ramie and other bast fibers and blended with cotton and chemical fibers, as well as other textiles and chemical fiber chemical products. Huasheng has 4 high-tech enterprises and 3 specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises in Hunan Province. Over the past 70 years, the company has been at the forefront of the domestic bast fiber textile industry and has won numerous awards. Its participation in the completion of ISO 5773:2023 Textiles—Determination of the composition of flax fibers won the second prize of the Science and Technology Progress Award of the China National Textile and Apparel Council. The company owns more than 50 patented technologies and is the Ramie Product Development Base of the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the vice president unit of the China Bast and Leaf Fibers Textile Industry Association, the president unit of the Hunan Garment Industry Association, and the Hunan Ramie and Bast Fiber Textile Engineering Technology Research Center.
