Zhongshan Beikong Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as: Zhongshan Beikong) was established in 1988 and was listed in Hong Kong in 2006 (stock code: HK8247). It is a high-tech enterprise founded by the Institute of Biophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, mainly engaged in the research and development, production, sales, and service of in vitro diagnostic (IVD) products. The history of the company's reagent production can be traced back to the Three-Unit Preparation Group of the Institute of Biophysics in 1973. The company's development has always been oriented towards meeting people's livelihood needs, actively promoting the development of the national IVD industry, building an independent innovation system combining production, education, research, and application, exploring an operating model of "internationalization, grouping, and diversification," constructing a full industry chain integrating "systematization, serialization, integration, and intellectualization" to enhance core competitiveness, and forming a certain influence in the industry. Since launching China's enzymatic single and dual biochemical reagents, through years of product accumulation, Zhongshan Beikong has established a complete biochemical detection series product platform, expanded to immunology, molecular, flow cytometry, and other in vitro diagnostic serial products, and is committed to creating comprehensive solutions for clinical diagnosis and treatment. At present, it has obtained approximately 270 registration certificates for in vitro diagnostic reagent products, mainly covering twelve categories of biochemical detection items such as liver function, kidney function, blood lipids, cardiovascular, diabetes, and rheumatism, making it one of the domestic manufacturers with a relatively complete range of biochemical diagnostic reagents.
