哈密煤电开发有限公司是自2021年划转至中国华电集团有限公司的三级单位，于2014年9月26日在哈密市注册成立，公司位于新疆哈密南部戈壁腹地，距哈密市约98公里，运营两台660MW超超临界空冷燃煤机组，于2016年2月建成投产，是国家“疆电外送”哈密-郑州±800kV特高压输电线路首批核准的重要配套电源项目。
