I. Company Introduction:
Nidec Group was founded in 1984 and listed on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange on October 16, 2000 (Stock Code: HK0365), with its headquarters in Hong Kong. In 1993, a production base was established in mainland China. The factory is located in the beautiful garden city of Shenzhen, with a lush green campus, covering a total area of 57,550 square meters and industrial workshops of over 76,300 square meters. It enjoys convenient transportation, an elegant environment, and complete facilities.
The Group currently has more than 1,800 employees, including over 300 professional engineering design personnel, and has established a high-quality professional R&D team mainly composed of doctoral, master's, and bachelor's degree holders. In scientific research, it has reached cooperation agreements with the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, the Chinese University of Hong Kong, and Harbin Institute of Technology, establishing Nidec master's and doctoral workstations. It owns more than 180 patents and is the formulator and promoter of the IPC-9853 standard (Specification for Characterization and Verification of Hot Air Reflow Soldering Systems). It is a high-tech enterprise, integrating scientific research, design, production, sales, and service. It possesses more than 100 sets of high-precision automated manufacturing equipment such as manipulators, laser equipment, and CNC machining centers, with strong R&D and production processing capabilities. The Group currently has four investment companies and one joint venture, namely Nidec Electronic Development (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Nidec Electronic Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., Fuyun Precision Co., Ltd., and Tianli Precision Systems (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. Its main industries are automated production lines, automotive automation equipment, environmentally friendly cleaning equipment, logistics equipment, SMT surface mount equipment, wave soldering, AOI, X-Ray, BGA rework stations, COB, COG, precision sheet metal-based ODM processing business, and other non-standard equipment. Products are widely used in automotive electronics, electronic machinery, home appliances, medical care, transportation, communications, logistics, and finance. II. Nidec Milestones:
1997 Obtained exclusive SMT distributorship for Samsung in Hong Kong and China.
2000 Listed on the Main Board of the Stock Exchange of Hong Kong.
2001 Awarded the high-tech enterprise certificate.
2004 Cooperated with Harbin Institute of Technology to establish the Nidec Green Micro-Manufacturing R&D Center.
2006 Samsung SMT Shenzhen Technology Center established at Nidec.
2008 Fully entered the ODM market and built an intelligent equipment production base.
2010 Established the Photovoltaic Industry Research Office; LED and LCD projects launched.
2011 SMT training base established; HIT Postdoctoral Workstation established.
