China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. is one of the core enterprises of China Merchants Shipbuilding Industry Group under China Merchants Group. Founded in 2013 with a registered capital of USD 400 million, it covers a plant area of 1.36 million square meters with a 2,500-meter coastline. Main business: R&D, design, construction and repair of offshore engineering equipment, including high value-added products such as offshore oil drilling platforms, wind power installation service platforms, FPSOs, LNG carriers, semi-submersible crane platforms, polar expedition cruise ships and medium-sized luxury cruise ships.
The company has successively passed the ISO9001 quality management system, ISO14001 environmental management system, OHSAS18001 occupational health and safety management system and ISO50001 energy management system certifications of China Classification Society, American Bureau of Shipping and Det Norske Veritas. Since its establishment, the company has delivered products including CJ46, CJ50 and JU2000E jack-up drilling platforms, a 3,000-ton crane vessel, a 38,000-ton semi-submersible barge and a 400,000-ton very large ore carrier, becoming a contractor of the CJ series jack-up drilling platforms; its orders in hand include semi-submersible crane decommissioning platforms, multifunctional wind power installation service platforms, the world's first 45,000-cubic-meter A-BOX LNG carrier, medium-deepwater semi-submersible drilling platforms, polar expedition cruise ships and FPSO general contracting; its projects under research include forward-looking products such as medium-sized luxury cruise ships, LNG carriers, FSRUs, FLNGs, polar drilling equipment and combustible ice extraction devices.
