Terex is a global manufacturer of material handling machinery and aerial work platforms. We design, build, and support products used in construction, maintenance, manufacturing, energy, recycling, minerals, and material management applications. Some of Terex's products and solutions include electric and hybrid products with no noise pollution and zero emissions, products that promote the use of renewable energy, and products that facilitate waste resource recycling, thereby helping customers reduce their environmental impact. Our products are manufactured in North America, Europe, Australia, and Asia and sold worldwide. We engage with customers at all stages of the product life cycle, from initial specification and financing to parts and service support.

Terex Corporation was incorporated in Delaware in 1986 and listed on the New York Stock Exchange in 1987, with over 10,000 employees globally. In March 2011, Terex Aerial Work Platforms, specializing in aerial work platforms, officially established its Changzhou plant in Changzhou High-tech Industrial Development Zone, integrating product manufacturing, parts distribution, and service center functions, marking the beginning of its production path in China. In the same year, Genie's first production line was officially unveiled. Within just two years, the plant developed rapidly, achieving full localized production of Genie aerial work platforms and beginning to supply globally. In June 2016, the second phase expansion of the Changzhou plant was completed and put into use, with a total plant area of 63,800 square meters and over 800 employees.
