Chongqing Changpeng Industry (Group) Co., Ltd.

Chongqing Changpeng Industry Group is located in Liujiaba, Dadukou District. Founded in December 1990, it was formerly the composite materials factory of Unit 56280 of the Chinese People's Liberation Army and was restructured into a private joint-stock enterprise in 1995. It currently has 1,575 employees, including 167 design and technical talents such as doctoral and master's degree holders (2 PhDs and 13 master's degree holders), accounting for 10.5% of the total workforce. In 2009, its turnover was 780 million yuan. It has established 10 subsidiaries in Hainan and other automobile production regions. Together with Toyota Tsusho, a Fortune Global 500 company, it established the joint venture Changfeng Giken in Chongqing, and will soon establish two more joint ventures with Fortune Global 500 companies. The Group focuses on automotive interior and exterior trim systems, NVH systems, and electronic control systems. Over the past five years, it has extended and built upstream and downstream industrial chains, with outstanding cost competitiveness and a national market share of 9%, ranking among the leaders in the industry.
Since its founding, Changpeng Group has held the ideal of building a century-old enterprise, persistently learning advanced management concepts and business models, and consistently devoting the vast majority of its profits to innovation and development. From 2001 to 2003, it obtained two invention patents and six utility model patents; since 2002, it has been a Chongqing "High-tech Enterprise"; since 2004, it has successively introduced 11 units/sets of Swedish ABB robots; in 2005, it introduced four fully automatic production lines from Germany's Arlenbach; in 2006, it passed ISO14001 environmental certification and ISO/TS16949 quality management system certification; in 2007, it received two Chongqing "Famous Brand Product" titles; in 2008, it was recognized as a Chongqing "Enterprise Technology Center" and received the "Chongqing Product Standard Award"; in 2009, it was awarded the district-level "Enterprise Technology Innovation Center" and also became a "Chongqing First Batch Enterprise Intellectual Property Pilot Unit"; in 2010, it passed Q1 and went live with ERP. It has established core technology routes and shared platforms for various series of products.
