Chongqing Polycomp International Corporation (CPIC) is a large state-owned enterprise integrating R&D, production and sales of fiberglass products. It focuses on high-performance new materials, and is committed to developing high-performance products with stable quality and continuous innovation, providing customers with valuable services and application solutions.
CPIC was established in 1991. Its predecessor was Chongqing Fiberglass Factory founded in 1971. It was acquired by Yuntianhua in 1999 and is currently mainly controlled by Yuntianhua Group Co., Ltd., serving as an important pillar of Yuntianhua Group's new materials industry. CPIC has total assets of over 11 billion yuan. It has production bases in Chongqing, Zhuhai, Changzhou, as well as overseas in Brazil and Bahrain. Its annual fiberglass production capacity exceeds 600,000 tons, and its annual fiberglass fabric production capacity reaches 150 million meters. The company has four sales subsidiaries: North America Company, Europe Company, Russia Company and Hong Kong Company.
CPIC has advanced production equipment and process technology, as well as well-trained professional employees and loyal suppliers. The fiberglass products provided by CPIC range from textile fine yarn and bulky yarn to reinforcement material products such as roving, mat (emulsion/powder), checkered fabric, multiaxial fabric, chopped fiber for thermoplastics, and direct roving for thermoplastics. Product quality has always been leading in the industry. Through years of exploration and effort, the company now possesses advanced independent core technologies, including 136 invention and utility patents such as ECT, TM, and TM+. Its untwisted roving products have won the title of "China Famous Brand", and its main products have passed certifications from Germanischer Lloyd (GL), Lloyd's Register (LR), and the U.S. FDA. Products sell well in many countries and regions in Asia, Europe, the Americas, the Middle East, etc., and the company has established stable cooperative relationships with internationally renowned enterprises such as GE, DuPont, and LM. Products are widely used in urban construction, interior decoration, automotive industry, machinery and electronics, wind power generation, aerospace, marine, rail transit and other fields.
