Shanghai Huiwen Biotechnology Co., Ltd. (Stock Code: 832402), formerly Shenzhen Wenda Industrial, was established in 1985. Its founder, Ms. Liu Guiyun, is a cell physiology expert from the Shanghai Branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In 2000, the company shifted its focus to Shanghai, and in 2001, Ms. Liu, along with a group of scientist colleagues from the Chinese Academy of Sciences era, established Huiwen Biotechnology as a platform based on the transformation of scientific and technological achievements. With scientificity, functionality, and professionalism as its core values, the company, through the joint efforts of two generations of scientists, has established a robust R&D "backend" grounded in molecular biology, phytochemistry, microbiology, organic chemistry, and polysaccharides; built a R&D "middle platform" for efficacy verification, safety verification, and application development based on application scenarios; and developed a front-end platform for application formulations to meet market demands. It develops core functional raw materials, intermediates, and end products for B-end and C-end customers. While selling existing functional raw materials, it also provides one-stop, multi-product, full-process services. Since its listing on the New Third Board in 2015, supporting a complete R&D and industrial chain, the company has invested in and expanded five major industrialization transformation platforms, including natural product biomedicine, fine chemicals, microbial fermentation, and cosmetics production centers.
