Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics is located in the Optical Valley Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park in Wuhan, Hubei Province, covering a total area (including supporting living quarters) of nearly 1,500 mu. The total project investment is 51 billion yuan, of which the t3 project has a registered capital of 8.76 billion yuan and the t4 project has a registered capital of 18 billion yuan. It primarily produces high-end smartphone LCD and flexible AMOLED display panels for small and medium sizes.

Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics Technology Co., Ltd. (t3 project), established on May 20, 2014, with a total investment of 16 billion yuan, built the first 6th-generation LTPS display panel production line in China. Its products target high-end mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and automotive applications, with a designed capacity of 45,000 glass substrates of 1500×1850 size per month. The t3 project started construction on September 16, 2014, achieved successful product lighting on February 10, 2016, and reached mass production ahead of schedule in September 2016.

Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics Semiconductor Display Technology Co., Ltd. (t4 project), established on October 24, 2016, with a total investment of 35 billion yuan, built the 6th-generation flexible LTPS-AMOLED display panel production line. It mainly adopts advanced flexible display technologies such as flexible substrates for end-panel products, flexible LTPS processes, high-efficiency OLED, flexible touch, and flexible covers, producing high-resolution flexible and foldable smartphone display panels ranging from 3 to 12 inches. The designed capacity is 45,000 glass substrates of 1500×1850 size per month, and the annual output value is expected to exceed 30 billion yuan after reaching full capacity. This is a landmark project for CSOT's transition to the flexible folding era.

Wuhan China Star Optoelectronics broke the conventional path of introducing foreign technology and talent by inviting global industry experts to join and forming its own high-level technical and management teams. To date, it has provided over 10,000 job positions. At the same time, it has achieved remarkable results in independent innovation and patent applications, with a total of 4,579 invention patent applications (t3+t4) as of 2018, ranking first among Hubei enterprises for four consecutive years. Over the past five years in Wuhan, it has attracted thousands of outstanding talents from around the world to settle in the Optical Valley, and has become a pillar enterprise for the cluster development of the "Chip-Screen-End-Network" trillion-level industrial cluster in the Optical Valley. It holds significant strategic importance for building a global small and medium-sized display panel base in the Optical Valley and for China's new display industry to catch up with and surpass the world's advanced level.
