Yueqian was officially established in 2005, formerly known as Guangqian, invested and established by the Guangdong Provincial Government in 2005. It is a globally operating IT technology product research and development and education service institution. Currently, Yueqian has four major brand industries: IT technology education, teaching instruments, digital medical systems, and animation and game machine products. Development History 2005-2011 Successfully developed GEC2410 and 2440 development and experiment platforms, was awarded ARM authorized embedded training center, and became a training institution that uses real projects for embedded teaching; independently developed teaching instrument products. In 2011, developed a domestic CORTEX-A8 development platform and IoT OT experiment platform, began development in the Android mobile application field, established the 3G Business Department, and successfully held the China Embedded Technology and IoT Annual Conference. 2012 Successfully held the "2012 Yueqian Cup" large-scale embedded technology skills competition. Motion sensing projects officially entered the Yueqian R&D Center, achieving new breakthroughs in the technical field. 2013 Completed more than 200 products and solutions, increased nationwide product service outlets to more than 130, further enhanced product and solution R&D and production capacity, and became one of the leading brands in domestic embedded training. 2014-2015 The Yueqian Grand Lecture Hall project was officially launched, entering many university campuses across the country; participated in the Pearl River Delta satellite navigation application demonstration system project. The CORTEX-A15 platform GEC-5260 was successfully launched, making it an early training institution in the industry to use this level of product; Yueqian training students exceeded 30,000. 2016 Yueqian Technology officially listed on the New Third Board, with stock code: 839909. Yueqian Maker Space officially opened to the public, becoming a technology-oriented maker space incubating directions including Internet+, IoT, artificial intelligence, and Industry 4.0 technologies, and was officially recognized and upgraded to a national-level maker space. 2017 Plans to support the construction of 1,000 campus maker spaces within 3 years to help universities deepen innovation and entrepreneurship education reform; nationwide cooperation with undergraduate colleges to implement the Ministry of Education collaborative education project, with 250 sub-projects benefiting teaching at 150 universities and innovation and entrepreneurship for 1,000 students; hosted the provincial "Internet+ Smartphone APP Development Skills Improvement Training Class", continuing to provide skills improvement services for teachers in computer and electronics-related majors at colleges and universities nationwide; assisted 100 universities in building brand majors to cultivate more high-quality university graduates for society. 2018 On the basis of existing product lines, increased R&D efforts, launched and operated the Yueqian Little Maker project, popularizing embedded and robot programming projects for children and teenagers. 2019 Currently has established Guangzhou, Changsha, Shenzhen, Wuhan, Xi'an, Chongqing, Chengdu, and Guangxi branches. Achievements of multiple brands such as Yueqian Maker, Yueqian Education, and Yueqian Little Maker have received strong support and promotion from cooperative units. 2020 Responding to the call of "suspending classes without stopping learning", successfully carried out online practical training activities with cooperative universities, and provided free support for a certain unit's infrared automatic thermometer; at the same time, in Hunan region, public welfare classes on robot education and programming thinking were offered for primary and secondary schools, kindergartens, and communities.
