一重集团天津重工有限公司是由中国*重型机械集团公司和天津市机电工业控股公司共同投资建设，于2007年10月注册成立，2008年开工建设。公司目前已部分投产，工程预计2010年全部完成。公司位于天津市东丽区的天津滨海重机工业园内，两面靠海河。厂区征地面积800余亩，占地面积52万平方米。新建厂区由*、第二、第三、第四联合厂房、厂办公大楼、综合楼、海水淡化总装场地和其它辅助动力设施组成。
