1. School Introduction
Chongqing Wanzhou Chunyang Middle School was founded in 1999. It is a high-standard, modern full-time boarding school integrating junior and senior high school education, approved by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. The school is located in Gaofeng Town, Wanzhou District, * Economic Development Zone. It covers an area of 150 mu, with a building area of over 60,000 square meters and more than 2,300 students and teachers. The campus is shaded by green trees, filled with the songs of birds and the fragrance of flowers, with a strong cultural atmosphere and a reasonable functional layout. Teaching, living, and sports facilities are all available.
2. School Achievements
Our school has been rated as one of the "Top Ten Well-known Brand Schools in Chinese Private Education" by the National Private Education Association, as a "Green School" by the Chongqing Municipal Education Commission and the Chongqing Environmental Protection Bureau, and as a "May Fourth Red Flag Youth League Committee" by the Youth League District Committee. It has been rated multiple times as an Advanced School in Senior High School Education Quality by the Wanzhou District Education Commission, Advanced Collective in District Teaching and Research, Advanced School in District Sports, Advanced School in District Health, Model School in District Moral Education, and Advanced School in District Social Force Education.
Our school has achieved excellent results in all previous high school entrance examinations and college entrance examinations. Over the past 17 years, 8 students have been admitted to Tsinghua University and Peking University, and many others have been admitted to top ten universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Zhejiang University, as well as other key universities across the country. The further education rate has remained above 95%. To cite just a few examples: Yang Jin and Zhou Ping were admitted to Peking University; Xiong Peng's art professional score reached the admission line of Tsinghua University; Gao Yanling won the title of top liberal arts student in Wanzhou District and was admitted to the University of Macau; Zhou Ping, Feng Xin, Feng Hua, Chen Junwei, Yuan Ye and others were successively admitted to domestic key universities and then to Tsinghua University and Peking University for master's degrees. Wei Lai, Li Maolin, and Deng Xiao, who graduated from our junior high school, were admitted to municipal key high schools and then to Tsinghua University and Peking University. Li Haiguo, Huang Xiaoshan, and Li Binyu were admitted to Shanghai Jiao Tong University; Ran Hua was admitted to Zhejiang University; Chen Rumiao was admitted to Tongji University; Zhang Yuandong and Liu Yu were admitted to Beihang University; Tang Xiaotong was admitted to Beijing Normal University; Jiang Zhao, Deng Hailang and others were admitted to Sun Yat-sen University; Shen Xinyan was admitted to China University of Political Science and Law; Huang Kaiye was admitted to Beijing Film Academy; Chen Song was admitted to the Central Academy of Drama; Cao Ashuan was admitted to Shanghai Theatre Academy.
In 2015, the college entrance examination achieved brilliance again: 9 students scored above 600 points, 90 students were admitted to undergraduate programs, the highest liberal arts score was 652, the highest science score was 652, and the admission rate was 96%.
