Chongqing Wanzhou Saide International School

Chongqing Wanzhou Saide International School is a new type of regular primary and secondary school with complete teaching facilities and living facilities, integrating primary school, junior high school, and senior high school into one, a high-standard, modern boarding, fully closed school. It currently has more than 2,000 students and 232 faculty and staff, including 132 teachers (3 foreign teachers, 4 special-grade teachers, 28 senior teachers, and 3 master's degree holders). Since its founding in September 2000, it has been widely praised by parents and all sectors of society. In the assessment and evaluation of 34 non-governmental educational institutions by the Wanzhou District Education Commission, our school won first place for five consecutive years, and in 2002 was awarded the honorable title of "Advanced School" by the Chongqing Municipal People's Government. In 2004, it was named a "National Top 100 Private School" by the state, and has now entered the ranks of famous schools in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area.

The school is located on the outskirts of Wanzhou District, covering an area of 120 mu, with a building area of 58,000 square meters. It is divided into 11 areas: the campus square area, office area, teaching area, student dormitory area, cafeteria area, sports area, teacher dormitory area, auxiliary teaching area, mountain scenic area, water scenic area, and rear mountain area, with clear functions and reasonable layout. The scenic areas and large green spaces complement each other, hills and lakes contrast beautifully, with green grass, trees, and blooming flowers. The green coverage rate reaches 70%. Each teaching class has 40 students, and 4-6 people share an apartment-style dormitory of 35 square meters each, equipped with a bedroom, study room, bathroom, and balcony, under closed management, with full-time security personnel and life counselors. The school has advanced educational and teaching facilities, with four teaching areas for preschool education, primary school, junior high school, and senior high school, each independent and forming clusters. There are teaching buildings, laboratory buildings, a library, a science and technology building, multimedia classrooms, computer rooms (equipped with more than 100 dual-core computers), language labs, and an art education center (with 20 pianos, 20 accordions, and 80 electronic keyboards) and other major teaching facilities. There are also auxiliary teaching facilities such as an observatory, science popularization laboratory, e-learning classroom, body training room, dedicated music classroom, dedicated art classroom, piano room, instrument room, and art corridor; and standard sports facilities including a green football field with a 400-meter track, tennis courts, basketball courts, volleyball courts, badminton courts, table tennis courts, a swimming pool, and a fitness room.

With the school-running purpose of "everything for students, for everything of students," using the means of creating opportunities for success for every student, with improving all aspects of quality as the basic task, and with cultivating and enhancing students' achievement motivation and success psychology as the main goal, the quality education model builds a moral education framework centered on "being a good person."
