Beijing Meidiyun Medical Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as MDC) is an innovative high-tech medical enterprise. The company was restructured and established in 2014 from Qianwan Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. Its business areas cover multiple fields including medical equipment leasing, provision of overall solutions for department development, and sales of medical equipment and consumables.
MDC has always been committed to the goal of building a *'medical cloud' sharing platform, innovatively introducing the IT concept of 'cloud sharing' into the medical field. This innovative model not only allows more patients in China to enjoy world-class medical services at the earliest opportunity, but also better aligns with the national requirements for building a resource-intensive society and the goal of vigorously developing the sharing economy.
In recent years, with the continuous development of the domestic economy and the improvement of people's living standards, the public's attention to and investment in their own health has been increasing. According to statistics from relevant departments, in recent years, the annual growth rate of per capita medical expenses in China has been 14.33%–18.24%, far exceeding the growth rate of per capita GDP. The continuous increase in medical investment has also enabled more hospitals to develop. However, this has not changed the current situation of uneven distribution of medical resources; the medical resources enjoyed by second- and third-tier cities are far inferior to those of first-tier metropolises. But the majority of China's population still resides in second- and third-tier cities. This has led to the phenomenon where in large cities and major hospitals, appointments and beds are extremely difficult to obtain, while other hospitals are nearly deserted. MDC's innovative operation model can precisely solve this problem. MDC connects upward with equipment suppliers and downward with hospitals. The 'cloud sharing' model can allow more hospitals to possess medical equipment comparable to top hospitals at the earliest opportunity while mastering more advanced medical technology, fundamentally improving the current severe imbalance in the distribution of medical resources and benefiting local residents.
After more than two years of exploration, MDC has achieved encouraging results, but our relentless pursuit of perfection will not stop. In 2017, the MDC 2.0 network system will be launched. Under the new network system model, MDC's connections with hospitals and patients will be closer, response speed will be faster, and the operation model will be more convenient, better meeting current medical needs.
