China Electronic Technology Cyber Security Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as China Cyber Security) is a cyber security subgroup focused on information security and physical security, established by China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as CETC) in response to national security strategic development needs. It is built around CETC's 30th and 33rd Research Institutes, which have deep expertise in information security and physical security, and integrates internal resources of CETC. In May 2015, with the approval of the State Council, the company was officially established. China Cyber Security possesses comprehensive information security qualifications in China, a strong information security R&D team, and a complete quality service system. It has built a complete information security industry chain covering theory, algorithms, chips, products, systems, and services. It primarily serves key national sectors, industries, and the public market, providing information (physical) security products, secure information systems, industry-specific security solutions, and operations and maintenance services for information systems and big data security.
The company currently has more than 8,000 employees, with scientific research staff accounting for over 60%. It has more than 30 national-level scientific and technological talents under national programs such as the "XX Plan" and the National Innovation Talent Promotion Plan, over 70 researcher-level senior engineers, and more than 100 senior experts and specialists in various fields.
