The 30th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation

The 30th Research Institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (hereinafter referred to as the 30th Institute) was founded in 1965 and is now located on Chuangye Road, High-tech Zone, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a backbone research institute integrating scientific research, production, and service. The 30th Institute currently has more than 4,800 employees. Adhering to the development strategy of "holding high the banner, building a high ground, and creating a platform," the 30th Institute takes military as the foundation and promotes coordinated development of military and civilian sectors, forming an industrial development pattern with the institute headquarters as the core and holding companies as the main body. It offers master's degree programs in communication engineering, as well as doctoral programs in communication engineering and post-doctoral workstations. In 1995, the state established a key laboratory based on the 30th Institute. Facing the severe network security situation, China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETC), upholding the national will, established the CETC Network Information Security Co., Ltd. (under preparation) based on the 30th Institute and other member units, to build a flagship enterprise in China's information security industry and form the information security industry sub-group of CETC. After nearly fifty years of development, the 30th Institute has undertaken a large number of core and key information construction projects in the party, government, and civil fields, and has been affirmed by the Party Central Committee, the State Council, and the Central Military Commission.
