Changjiang Securities, namely Changjiang Securities Co., Ltd., formerly known as Hubei Securities Company, was established on March 18, 1991, with its registered place in Wuhan. On February 23, 2000, with the approval of the China Securities Regulatory Commission, the company increased its capital and expanded its shares to 1.029 billion yuan, and was renamed "Changjiang Securities Co., Ltd." (formerly Changjiang Securities Co., Ltd.). In December 2001, with approval, the company increased its capital and expanded its shares to 2 billion yuan. On December 19, 2007, with the approval from the CSRC, the company was renamed "Changjiang Securities Joint-stock Co., Ltd.", and was officially listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange on December 27, with stock code 000783. In 2005 and 2008, the company was twice rated as one of the "Top Ten Influential Brands in China's Securities Industry". In 2007, in the selection of "Chinese Securities Firms Award", the company won the "Most Development Potential Securities Firm Award".
