China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Co., Ltd. (referred to as China Construction Fifth Bureau) was established in 1965, and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China State Construction Engineering Corporation, which ranks 27th among the world's top 500 enterprises; it is a construction and investment enterprise group with total assets exceeding 50 billion yuan and an operating scale exceeding 200 billion yuan. In 2016, it ranked second among the top 100 enterprises in Hunan Province. It holds the special grade qualification for general contracting of housing construction (two items) and the special grade qualification for general contracting of municipal public works. In 1994, with the approval of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division, the Third Construction and Installation Company of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Wenzhou Branch was established, which is now renamed "China Construction Fifth Engineering Division Co., Ltd. Zhejiang Branch". The branch is the full representative of China Construction Fifth Engineering Division in the Zhejiang region, exercising operational and performance rights externally and managing production factors comprehensively internally.
