Beijing Epug Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Epug) was founded in 2004 with a registered capital of 12 million RMB. It is a high-tech enterprise that provides services for scientific research in China, including scientific research informatization construction, scientific research consulting, evaluation services, and scientific research transformation services. The company is headquartered in Beijing and has subsidiaries in Henan, Guangdong, Tianjin, and Sichuan, as well as offices in Nanjing, Wuhan, Xi'an, Harbin, Tongzhou, and Hangzhou.
Epug focuses on scientific research informatization construction, forming four major product lines: university scientific research informatization (scientific research business management system series), research institute informatization (digital research institute series), hospital scientific research informatization (hospital scientific research management system), and scientific research operation service informatization (provincial and ministerial scientific research management information platform construction, open scientific research fund project application and review platform series).
University scientific research informatization: This business has undergone five development stages, including scientific research management system V5, scientific research refined management V6, scientific research management system V7, scientific research management system V8, and scientific research innovation service platform V1. It is one of the company's core businesses, led by the Education Software Business Department, with a professional technical team of 230 people and over 1,000 university users, including 28 "985" universities, 85 "211" universities, 30 "Double First-Class" universities, and 80 "Double First-Class" discipline construction universities. The company holds an absolute leading position in the field of university scientific research management informatization construction in China.
Research institute informatization: The informatization construction for research institutes began in 2009, serving domestic research institutes and enterprise research centers. It provides two major products: a comprehensive management platform for scientific research and an overall digital research institute solution, led by the Research Institute & Key Account Business Department. Currently, it has over 75 research institutes and enterprise research center users.
Hospital scientific research informatization: This was a key strategic development direction of the company in 2010, mainly providing scientific research informatization construction services for top-tier hospitals in China. Led by the Research Institute & Key Account Business Department (Hospital Group), it has served over 96 top-tier hospitals, including China-Japan Friendship Hospital, Beijing Tongren Hospital, Cancer Hospital of China (Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences), and Sun Yat-sen University Cancer Center. Through cooperation with these hospitals, Epug launched its key product—the Hospital Scientific Research Management System in 2012, providing professional scientific research management informatization services for major hospitals nationwide.
Scientific research operation service informatization: Through accumulated experience in building the Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Research Management Platform, the Guangdong Provincial Education Department Scientific Research Digital Platform, and the Henan Provincial University Science and Technology Cloud Service Platform, Epug will further provide various scientific research consulting, evaluation, and transformation services to universities, research institutes, scientific research management departments, hospital research management, and enterprise research centers.
