Intellectual Property Publishing House Co., Ltd. (formerly known as Patent Documentation Publishing House and Intellectual Property Publishing House) was established in August 1980, under the supervision and sponsorship of the China National Intellectual Property Administration. It holds the rights for book publishing, electronic publishing, online publishing, and journal publishing, and is one of the leading domestic high-quality enterprises integrating intellectual property operations, patent information services, data resource applications, digital publishing and traditional printing, Internet+, and system integration and development technology innovation. The Intellectual Property Publishing House is an advanced unit in national cultural system reform, a national first-level publishing house, one of the national hundred book publishing units, a national demonstration unit for digital publishing transformation, and the statutory publishing unit for Chinese patent documents. In December 2013, the Intellectual Property Publishing House completed its corporatization reform and was renamed Intellectual Property Publishing House Co., Ltd.
