Zhongzi Engineering Management Consulting Co., Ltd., established in 1989, is a wholly-owned subsidiary of China International Engineering Consulting Co., Ltd. with a registered capital of 100 million yuan. It is one of the first supervision units in China with Grade A supervision qualification. In 2009, the company obtained comprehensive engineering supervision qualification and is a Grade A bidding agency for central government investment projects in the domestic supervision industry. The company professionally provides whole-process engineering consulting services including engineering supervision, highway engineering supervision, civil air defense engineering construction management, project agency construction; bidding agency; cost consulting; and pre-project consulting. Its business covers 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions across the country, as well as Asian and African countries such as Ethiopia, Kazakhstan, Laos, and Pakistan. The company has sufficient human resources, complete specialties, and a high-quality talent team centered on "100 outstanding chief supervisors (project managers)".

In recent years, the company has successively undertaken and completed supervision and project management tasks for national key construction projects, including the National Stadium (Bird's Nest), Terminal 2 and Terminal 3 of Capital Airport, Nanhai Museum, Beijing Municipal Affairs Service Center, subways in cities such as Beijing, Tianjin, Chongqing, and Shenzhen, Hangzhou Bay Cross-sea Bridge, Beijing-Shanghai High-Speed Railway, Wuhan Yangtze River Tunnel, geological disaster control in the Three Gorges Reservoir Area of Chongqing, PetroChina's 10-million-ton oil refining projects in Guangxi and Sichuan, Shenzhen Universiade Center, Airbus A320 series aircraft China final assembly line, Taishan Nuclear Power Station, Ningxia Lingwu Power Plant, Ningbo Iron and Steel Company, and national grain reserve depots. Among them, 40 projects won the "Luban Award", 8 projects won the "Zhan Tianyou Award", 36 projects won the "National Quality Engineering Award", and more than 300 projects won provincial and ministerial awards such as Beijing's "Great Wall Cup". The company has been repeatedly rated as "Advanced Supervision Unit" by the China Association of Engineering Construction Standardization and the Beijing Supervision Association. In 2008, it was jointly awarded the titles of "Outstanding Collective for Beijing Olympic and Paralympic Games" and "Outstanding Collective for Olympic Project Construction" by the Beijing Municipal Party Committee, the Beijing Municipal Government, and the Beijing Organizing Committee for the Olympic Games.
