We are SGS - the internationally recognized testing, inspection and certification organization, regarded as the benchmark for sustainability, quality and integrity. Our global service network consists of 99,600 employees, 2,600 laboratories and branches.

SGS-CSTC Standards Technical Services Co., Ltd. was jointly established in 1991 by the SGS Group and China Standard Science and Technology Group, which is affiliated with the State Administration for Market Regulation system. The name takes the first characters of "General Notary Company" and "Standard Metrology Bureau". It has now established more than 100 branches and over 200 laboratories across the country, with more than 16,000 well-trained professionals.

SGS is the first third-party joint venture inspection institution in China to obtain ISO 17020 accreditation from the China National Accreditation Service for Conformity Assessment (CNAS). Its laboratories have been accredited by multiple authoritative organizations, such as CNAS, CMA, IECCC, GS, DAKKS, UKAS, HOKLAS, KFDA, JPMA, ISTA, CCC, cGMP, etc.

In China, SGS's service capabilities have fully covered the upstream and downstream of the supply chain in many industries, including textiles and footwear, toys and infant products, household and light industrial products, electronics and electrical, agricultural food, life sciences, cosmetics and personal care, petrochemical, minerals, environment, industry, transportation, and e-commerce.
