Beijing Institute of Landscape and Traditional Architectural Design Co., Ltd. was founded in 1953 and is one of the earliest institutions in China to hold Grade A landscape architecture design qualifications. It also holds Grade B qualifications for architectural engineering design and Grade B qualifications for urban and rural planning preparation, and has passed ISO9001 quality management system certification. Its business scope includes planning, parks, road greening and urban squares, landmark landscapes, forest cities and sponge cities, traditional gardens and architecture, real estate landscapes, fine horticulture and exhibition gardens. After more than 60 years of development, it has formed the corporate philosophy of "integrating folk customs with the times, and making environment and humanity reflect each other's brilliance," and has shaped a design style of "emphasizing scientific research, building fine works, inheriting culture, and being people-oriented." Our institute takes "inheritance, innovation, ecology, and humanity" as the eternal themes of urban construction, perfectly integrates art and technology, and ingeniously combines tradition and modernity. We focus on research into the inheritance and expression of culture in modern landscape design, emphasize the application of ecological concepts and new technologies, and have accumulated extensive design experience in planning, parks, road greening and urban squares, landmark landscapes, ecological restoration and sponge cities, traditional gardens and architecture, real estate landscapes, fine horticulture, and other fields. At the same time, we have unique artistic insights and attainments in park management and design management consulting, and our achievements have spread both domestically and internationally. These include the Deyue Garden in Berlin, Germany; the environmental improvement of the Gengzhitu Scenic Area in the Summer Palace; the planning and design of Beijing Olympic Forest Park; the environmental landscape design of the National Centre for the Performing Arts; the park construction project of the Beijing Yanqi Lake Ecological Development Demonstration Zone; the greening project of Terminal 3 of Capital Airport; the landscape design along Chang'an Avenue; the design of festive flower arrangements for Tiananmen and Chang'an Avenue over the years; and the design of Beijing Gardens for multiple World Horticultural Expositions and Garden Expositions. Our institute's works have won more than 180 excellent design awards at the national, industry, provincial, and municipal levels. In addition, we have participated in the formulation of many national, industry, and local standards, and the landscape planning and design software developed by ourselves is widely used in the industry.
