成都市第五人民医院始建于1938年，位于成都市温江区，交通便利，环境优美。拥有西区（综合医疗区）、东区（老年病区）、北区（教学区）三个院区，一所（中国成都—法国蒙彼利埃医疗中心老年疾病研究所)，以微创技术和老年病综合治疗为特色。医院建筑面积达21.2万平方米，现有开放床位数1900张，编制床位1380张。目前全院在职职工2035人，拥有高级职称249人，博士、硕士235人，医院学科设置齐全，其中一级学科24个、二级学科62个。临床科室30个，医技及辅助科室17个，行政职能科室21个。其中老年病科、心血管内科、泌尿外科为四川省甲级重点专科，妇产科为四川省乙级重点专科，呼吸内科、重症医学科为四川省甲级重点专科建设项目，老年病科、微创外科为成都市重点学科。
