Wuhan Conference Center is a conference hotel invested and built by Wuhan Real Estate Group. Its predecessor is the Central-South Bureau Guest House, originally built in the 1930s. It is a commemorative building marking the seat of the central government of the six central-southern provinces after the liberation of China, and serves as tangible evidence for the study of modern Chinese history. It has hosted Chairman Mao Zedong, the Ten Marshals, and other important leaders of the Party and the State, as well as heads of state and government from the former Soviet Union, Czechoslovakia, East Germany, Vietnam, North Korea, and other countries. Wuhan Conference Center is entrusted by Wuhan Real Estate Group to Wuhan Optics Valley Xianhe Hotel Management Co., Ltd. for management. It enjoys a superior geographical location in the city center, adjacent to the scenic Jiefang Park, with very convenient transportation. It is less than one kilometer from the Second Yangtze River Bridge, and only a 10-minute and 20-minute drive to Hankou Railway Station and Tianhe Airport respectively. The conference center covers an area of over 80 mu, with a modern garden style. Lawns and trees are interspersed throughout, creating a quiet and elegant environment with birdsong and fragrant flowers, known as an 'oasis in the bustling city.' The operating area is over 20,000 square meters, with over 70 various guest rooms, 23 meeting rooms of various types, and dining banquet halls, buffet restaurants, and private rooms totaling 5,000 square meters.
